Lynda had earned EVERY endorsement that has been offered to the District 4 school board candidates.
It’s officially election season and we have started door knocking and putting out yard signs. We started knocking on doors yesterday and really enjoyed it. It’s fun to meet neighbors and hear about their hopes for our public schools. Let us know if you’d like to join us. Door Knocking Sign Up
We’re also placing yard signs. We’d be happy to drop one off to you if you would like one. Please let us know in the contact section of this website.
We look forward to getting to know more of our School Board District 4 neighbors and hope to see you soon!
Are you in? Be part of the team. Things are really gearing up and we’re looking for volunteers to help with the campaign. There are many ways to help. One really helpful way to volunteer is to sign up for a door knocking shift. You can volunteer alone and meet some new people or b.y.o.f. (bring your own friends). It’s a great way to meet people and enjoy the spring weather. Please let us know below if you’re interested. Thanks!
Today is an exciting day! Our pins arrived and we have lots of them! We hope to have them all over School Board District 4!
If you want one, look for them at our meet and greets, at events or even ask someone wearing one. Chances are good that a person wearing one has a few to spare. If you have trouble finding one, let us know and we’ll try to get one to you.
In addition to endorsements by elected officials, including Allegheny County Executive Fitzgerald, Mayor Peduto and Councilman Gilman (P-G article below), Lynda has earned the endorsements of the Pittsburgh Federation of Teachers, the Allegheny County Democratic Committee, the Gertrude Stein Club of Greater Pittsburgh and the Steel City Stonewall Democrats. She is proud to have these endorsements.
Those who have endorsed her cite her experience, leadership, and commitment to both public education and our city as why they support her in this race.

I’m running for school board because every child in our city’s school district deserves the opportunity to excel and be challenged to the best of his or her ability.
Striving for excellence in our public schools is in the best interest of our children, our neighborhoods and our city.
Exciting things are ahead for Pittsburgh and I will work hard to ensure that the school district is moving forward and preparing our students for success, not only today’s students but also tomorrow’s.
Join us for the official launch of Lynda Wrenn’s campaign, February 16, 2015, from 6-8PM at Point Brugge (owned by Pittsburgh Public School parents!) Come celebrate her candidacy, lift a glass, and learn how you can get involved. We will have appetizers and a cash bar.
This is a grassroots effort and we need your help!
